Dear Members,
We are pleased to announce that Nicholas (Nick) Altman, is now our new Director of Player Development. He is now leading all of our Player Development Professionals to manage and develop programs to help you and your family members improve their golf game in order to better enjoy the game of golf!
A member of the PGA since 2012, and a PGA Certified Instructor/Coach since 2015, Nick has been helping golfers improve their games since he joined the golf industry in 2008.

Hello Hills Members,
As your new Director of Player Development, I hope to help you increase your enjoyment of the game of golf. I am excited to build lasting relationships with members and their families and to help make their time at the club and on the course as delightful as it can be. I love the experience of watching a student hit the best shot of their life, or hearing stories about a career low round after a training session. So, if you see me around the club, please feel free to ask for help with your swing or short game. I am here for you.
We currently have four experienced PGA Certified Player Development Professionals on staff here at The Hills Country Club - find out who they are and a little bit about their background and experience on our Meet the Staff page.
In addition, we have new pages on our portal (under PDP/Clinics in the black bar above) that help to summarize our Player Development Programs and link you to where you can book lessons, clinics, camps, and fittings.

Nick was most recently the Head Coach of the College of the Desert Men’s Golf Team and the Director of the Professional Golf Management Program. Before that, over his fifteen years in the golf industry, he has also held positions as Head Professional, Coach, Lead Instructor, and Director of Instruction. In other notable news, the Golf Operations Team at The Hills Country Club is restructuring and we are excited to announce the following changes to our Team and wish all the best of luck for these well-deserved opportunities.
Cory Jones will assume the Director of Retail position. Cory has proven to be a strong Team player and leader. Keith Rader will be leading the Tournament Sales Team at The Hills Country Club and will relocate to The Hills. Justin Aragon has assumed the daily golf operations leadership role of Head Pro at all four courses.
